我們的宗旨

CCASC is dedicated to preserving and promoting the richness of Chinese culture and language through educational programs, cultural exchanges, and community engagement.  We aim to serve as a bridge between the Chinese community and other communities in Southern California to enhance multicultural understanding and appreciation.

CCASC致力於透過教育計畫、文化交流、社區活动等來保持和促进更加豐富的中華文化及語言交流。 我們的目標是成為南加州華人社區和其他社區之間的橋樑，以增進大家对多元文化的理解和欣賞。

School History

Established in 1972, CCASC’s mission is to provide teaching and to promote learning of the Chinese language and culture to all communities, regardless of students’ ethnic heritages. Our Saturday morning program has been teaching the Chinese language in the Cerritos community for 50 years. CCASC currently offers 18 language courses that cater to a full spectrum of language skills. Our student body spans from preschool children to adults, from non-speakers to the more advanced students preparing for the AP or SAT II (accredited class).

CCASC 成立於1972年，宗旨是向社區提供中文教學和弘揚中華文化。我們週六上午的中文學校已經有五十年的歷史。 CCASC目前提供18種不同的語言課程 ，可以滿足全方位的語言學習需求。我們的學生年齡段從學齡前幼兒到成人，包含零基礎的初學者，以及備考AP和SAT II的高階學員。

Complementing our language curriculum, activity classes are also offered to introduce students to various aspects of the Chinese culture. Some of our classes include Chinese knotting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese beading, Chinese folk dance, Chinese yo-yo, and kung-fu. All students are also encouraged to participate in a variety of community events (Cerritos Festival of Friendship, Artesia International Day, Chinese New Year Celebration) as well as compete in track and field, art, and academic contests with other Chinese language schools.

除了语言课以外 ，我们还提供多種從不同角度了解中華文化的才藝课，例如中國结、書法、民族舞蹈、功夫、扯鈴等等。在参與中文學校聯合會的各种文化競賽以外，我們每年

都會參與社區的各種文化交流活動，如：喜瑞都市政府舉辦的友誼節、阿提夏市政府舉辦的國際日、社區各社團的慶祝春節活動等。

CCASC members shall re-elect Seven (7) to fifteen
(15) new Directors and several filled Directors at the annual General Assembly Meeting in early May.

每年五月初，理事会都会通过选举产生7至15位委员。

Board of Supervisors (BOS)
监事会

学校监事会由五位历届会长或财务委员义务担任，其功能是协助监管本协会之基金与产权，并为理事会提供必要之资讯服务。本会基金包括建校基金，年度筹款及捐款流向管理，以及预算平衡事宜。

BOS is formed by volunteers of the former presidents or treasurers of the CCASC, and consists of five(5) Executive Supervisors.  The main function of BOS is to safely and effectively manage all CCASC funds and real estate and provide necessary advisary support to the BOD.  The CCASC funds include the School Establishment Foundation, current year donations, and budget balance.
